The SET-listed Robinson Department Store Plc will open five shopping malls this year, focusing on major cities across the country with a total investment of 4 billion baht.

The move is part of a five-year provincial expansion plan, which calls for 25 malls to be opened from 2012-16.

President Precha Ekkunagul said the yearly budget during the period is 16 billion baht or 3-4 billion baht depending on the size, concept and location of each project.
