PTT goes green at its cafe

National oil company PTT Plc is launching biodegradable cups at its coffee shops to help the environment.

Executive vice-president Saran Rangkasiri said the company will launch the environmentally friendly plastic cups for hot drinks at all 780 of its Cafe Amazon outlets nationwide next week.

Cups for heavier cold drinks will be launched next year after more research.
