MAI jumped 2.16%, or 12.13 points, to 573.46 in transactions worth 4.99 billion baht.
Foreign investors bought a net 1.69 billion baht. Individual investors sold (1.69 billion), followed by institutional investors (156.12 million) and brokers (62.21 million).
Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers 70.07 billion baht), followed by brokers (19.44 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 78.88 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (9.64 billion).
