SET50 index surged 2.12%, or 20.45 points, to 983.07 in trade worth 51.81 billion baht.
MAI fell 0.70%, or 4.08 points, to 577.88 in transactions worth 3.62 billion baht.
Foreigners bought a net 6.89 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (1.58 billion) and brokers (1.05 billion). Individual investors sold 9.52 billion baht.
Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers 89.44 billion baht), followed by brokers (20.72 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 93.5 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (16.66 billion).
