SET50 index gained 0.38%, or 3.76 points, to 987.29 in trade worth 27.74 billion baht.
MAI climbed 0.31%, or 1.81 points, to 580.67 in transactions worth 2.53 billion baht.
Institutional investors bought a net 903.99 million baht, followed by individual investors (143.06 million). Foreign investors sold 751.94 million baht while brokers sold 295.11 billion.
Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers (111.07 billion baht), followed by brokers (22.34 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 103.71 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (29.7 billion).
