The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index rose 0.10%, or 1.59 points, to 1,582.78 on Tuesday.
Total trading value was 44.6 billion baht, with 6.3 billion shares changed hands.
SET50 index gained 0.07%, or 0.75 points, to 1,003.25 in trade worth 29.7 billion baht.
MAI climbed 0.08%, or 0.49 points, to 595.07 in transactions worth 3.8 billion baht.
Institutional investors bought a net 753.7 million baht, followed by brokers (613.7 million). Foreigners sold 758.9 million baht, followed by small investors 608.59 million baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 31.4 billion baht, followed by foreigners (7.6 billion) and brokers (753.4 million). Individual investors sold 39.8 billion baht.
The market will close for Songkran holidays on Thursday and Friday.
