SET closes up 4.69 to 1,581.42

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index rose 0.30%, or 4.69 points, to 1,581.42 on Tuesday.

Total trading value was 46.2 billion baht, with 8.8 billion shares changed hands.

SET50 index gained 0.46%, or 4.62 points, to 1,005.53 in trade worth 28.4 billion baht.

MAI advanced 0.16%, or 0.89 points, to 559.75 in transactions worth 1.9 billion baht.

Institutional investors bought a net 3.2 billion baht. Foreigners sold 1.6 billion baht, followed by brokers (1.2 billion baht) and individual investors (401.4 million).

Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 45.6 billion baht, followed by foreigners (15.9 billion). Individual investors sold 55.5 billion baht, followed by brokers (45.6 billion).
