Total trading value was 51.2 billion baht, with 8.7 billion shares changed hands.
SET50 index gained 0.28%, or 2.93 points, to 1,050.24 in trade worth 29 billion baht.
MAI jumped 1.32%, or 7.37 points, to 565.75 in transactions worth 2.9 billion baht.
Institutional investors were net buyers of 703 million baht worth of shares, followed by brokers (522.9 million) and foreigners (191 million baht). Individual investors were sole net sellers, offloading shares worth 1.4 billion baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 6.82 billion baht, followed by foreigners (6 billion baht) and brokers (5.3 billion baht). Retail investors were sole net sellers of 74.1 billion baht.
