SET down 5.48 to 1,463.71 points

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index closed down 0.37% or 5.48 points to 1,463.71 on Wednesday.

Total trading value was 64.76 billion baht, with 13.82 billion shares changed hands.

The SET50 index dropped 5.10 points or 0.51% to 985.56 in trade worth 41.32 billion baht.

The MAI index climbed 0.50 points, or 0.10%, to 492.15 points, with total transaction value of 2.37 billion baht.

Local institutions and brokers were net buyers of 31.99 billion and 8.82 million baht respectively while foreign investors and retail investors sold a net 33.49 billion and 7.33 million baht.
