The SET50 index slipped 1.16 points or 0.11% to 1,033.82 in trade worth 23.86 billion baht.
The MAI index jumped 9.81 points or 1.70% to 587.68 points, with total transaction value of 4.68 billion baht.
Retail investors and brokers were net buyers of 1.53 billion and 139.58 million baht respectively while foreign investors and local institutions sold a net 998.31 and 667.50 million baht respectively.
