Total trading value was 56.63 billion baht, with 20.55 billion shares changing hands.
The SET50 index ended at 1,047.78 points, down 10.10 points, or 0.95%, in trade worth 27.23 billion baht.
The MAI index went down 13.52 points, or 1.92%, to close at 691.49 points, with total transaction value of 6.96 billion baht.
Retail investors were net buyers of 2.68 billion baht. Local institutions, brokers and foreign investors were net sellers of 1.92 billion, 150 million and 610 million baht respectively.
