The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index sharply dropped 32.75 points, or 2.10%, to close at 1,526.81 points today.
Total trading value was 81.73 billion baht, with 21.68 billion shares changed hands.
The SET50 index ended at 1,018.38 points, down 22.60 points, or 2.17%, in trade worth 46.7 billion baht.
The MAI index went down 13.97 points, or 1.91%, to close at 715.88 points, with total transaction value of 4.57 billion baht.
Brokers, brokers and foreign investors were net sellers of 3.07 billion, 2.18 billion and 3.38 billion baht respectively. Retail investors were net buyers of 8.63 billion baht.
