The MAI index rose 5.81 points, or 0.89%, to 656.16, with total transaction value of 1.76 billion baht.
Local institutions were the largest buyers' group, with a net 921.09 million baht, followed by local individuals (292.78 million). Brokers sold a net 954.23 million baht, followed by local institutions (259.64 million).
