The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index fell 5.48 points to 1,481.26 on Thursday.
Total trading value was 41.02 billion baht, with 10.41 billion shares changed hands.
SET50 index dropped 2.42 points to 974.29 in trade worth 23.97 billion baht.
The MAI index slid 2.62 points, or 0.25%, to 636.73, with total transaction value of 3.16 billion baht.
Bangkok Ranch Plc (BR) made its debut on the SET on Thursday.
The company saw its market capitalisation increase by 1.37 billion baht on the first trading day from its initial public offering of 8.04 billion. Its price surged 13.59% or 1.40 baht to 11.70 baht.
BR, an integrated duck meat producer based in Thailand and the Netherlands, exports to 20 countries worldwide.
Small investors were the only buying group, with a net 1.31 billion baht. Brokers sold 614.23 million baht, followed by local institutions (577.85 million) and foreign investors (113.98 million).
