The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index jumped 1.21%, or 16.47 points, to 1,382.41 on Monday.
Total trading value was 39.04 billion baht, with 11.98 billion shares changed hands.
SET50 index gained 1.33%, or 11.91 points, to 905.68 in trade worth 26.39 billion baht.
The MAI index gained 1.47%, or 8.12 points, to 560.40, in total transaction value of 2.98 billion baht.
Local institutions bought a net 1.05 billion baht, followed by brokers (353.23 million) and foreigners (387.68 million). Small investors sold a net 1.79 billion baht.
Year-to-date, foreign investors sold a combined 86.39 billion baht, followed by brokers (9.89 billion).
