Total trading value was 49.8 billion baht, with 9.15 billion shares changed hands.
The SET50 index ended at 908.45 points, up 20.37 points or 2.29%, in trade worth 31.66 billion baht.
The MAI index went up 8.81 points or 1.53%, to close at 584.44 points, with total transaction value of 2.1 billion baht.
Local institutions, brokers and foreign investors were the net buyers of 1.4 billion, 1.75 billion and 1.12 billion baht respectively. Retail investors were net sellers of 4.27 billion baht.
