SET50 index jumped 1.05%, or 9.35 points, to 903.13 in trade worth 25.21 billion baht.
MAI gained 0.32%, or 1.68 points, to 528.71 in transactions worth 1.57 billion baht.
Foreigners bought a net 2.65 billion baht, followed by local institutions (276.85 million) and brokers (91.74 million). Individual investors sold 3 billion baht.
Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers (16.07 billion baht), followed by brokers (13 billion) and institutional investors (2.83 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 31.91 billion baht.
