SEC raps trio's knuckles

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed criminal complaints against PT Millennium Penata Futures, Ascot Global Trading and JRA Business Center for unlicensed derivatives trading.

Also named in the complaint was Arthiphant Thongchandr as an accomplice with PT Millennium and Kasemsak Sirisrisornchai as a director of JRA Business Centre.

The SEC said the three companies misrepresented themselves as gold futures trading agents and solicited investors to open trading accounts through their websites: www.mpf.co.id, www.ascotfx.com and www.maxglobalbullion.com.
