Subsidizing prices of everything using tax payers money is very short sighted and wont benefit the country at all .In fact in will retard growth .

No country in the world can control energy prices for long except Cuba, Iraq and some south american oil producing countries. The should look into alternative energy and also how to produce and distribute enegry efficiently, holding prices down will create a culture of miss-use or overuse resulting in wastage. Rather relief coupons should be used for those who really cant afford the new prices, while charging normal prices for those rich people. You need to take from Peter to help Paul eventually.
