Roundtable due

FINANCE: Financial experts and commentators from around the world will meet in Bangkok this Saturday to discuss the current economic crisis and reform of the global monetary system.

The 6th Asia-Europe Editors Roundtable is sponsored by the Asia-Europe Foundation and the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. The theme of the event is ``Multiple Currencies for a Multi-polar World'', and includes speakers from the Asian Development Bank Institute, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Topics of discussion will include Asian integration, the euro-zone crisis and the role of the media in shaping global attitudes and decisions.
