IRPC – BP signs Base Oil Sales Agreement

IRPC Public Co., Ltd., Senior Executive Vice President Port & Asset Management Business Unit and Acting Senior Executive Vice President Commercial & Marketing, Chansin Treenuchagron, and BP Singapore Pte., Ltd., Regional Base Oil Procurement Manager, Asia Pacific & Australia, Simon Chia signed a Base Oil Sales Agreement. The long term extended contract is for both domestic consumption and export with a total amount of 88,000 tonnes of base oil per year. The total value of the contract is approximately US$96.8 million. This makes BP IRPC’s biggest export customer. Witnessing the signing ceremony were IRPC Executive Vice President Corporate Marketing, Somkiat Lertritpuwadol, and BP Co., Ltd, UK, Global Base Oil Director, Christopher Boydell. The event was held on 11 January, 2013 at Suan Son Room, 6th floor, Building B, Energy Complex Center.
