Factory builder to tap sector's strong growth

Factory builder Siam P.C.S. Co Ltd is expanding to new destinations in Thailand and other Asean nations to tap into growing demand for the construction, expansion and renovation of factories.
Chief executive Saichon Bunkoet said the industrial sector in Thailand will continue growing over the next few years, particularly in the automotive sector.
"Thailand will become a hub of factories for automotive manufacturers when the Asean Economic Community is effective in 2016. This will be an opportunity for semi-finished factories to grow due to less dependency on labour," he said.
