Central's Yuwadee in Asia's top 50

Yuwadee Chirathivat, the president of Central Department Store, has been named one of the top 50 businesswomen in Asia by Forbes Asia.
Ms Yuwadee, 59, is the only Thai on the list, which is released in the latest edition of Forbes Asia magazine.
"Ms Yuwadee has guided Central Department Store into Thailand's pole position and is steering the 65-year-old family firm into a growing role regionwide," the magazine said, noting that Central's profits were up 13% and sales up 19% to $1.8 billion in 2012.
