Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra arrived at Sweden on Monday at the start of a three-day visit to northwestern Europe.
Ms Yingluck was invited to Stockholm by Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. The last time a Thai prime minister visited Sweden was nine years ago, by former premier Thaksin Shinawatra.
Ms Yingluck will also visit Belgium and the European Union headquarters in Brussels. She is accompanied by key cabinet members, senior officials and CEOs from prominent Thai enterprises.
