“The TPPA should not give the tobacco industry opportunities to increase business”.
Plenty of opportunities in Thailand of course.
“In August 2010, three major US tobacco merchants pleaded guilty to charges relating to the payment of bribes to officials of Thailand Tobacco M0nopoly”.
No names of course, influentially gifted people at work.

And how much economic loss does the various corruption schemes, like the latest police station construction fiasco, cost the taxpayers ? As long as, cigarette is a legal product, people may exercise their freedom to smoke, without disturbing other nonsmokers in public. If cigarette is that harmful, why don't we ban it altogether to get it over with? Heavy smokers die quickly too, so their burden on society is minimum, unlike crooked politicians and Govt officials who keep on living and stealing taxpayers' money all the way to hell.

The tobacco companies are the greediest, most ruthless and conniving drug lords the world has ever known.

But the people running them are so super wealthy they can buy their way out of the truth.

This medical cost is no need to worry, says the 1% of the people getting rich from the sale of cigarettes. As long as money is to be made, why worry about sickening 100,000's of people? The new Thai mentality, greed for yourself, your family, everyone else can die of cancer.
