Sabah invaders to 'fight to the death'

Philippine Muslims who invaded Malaysia's eastern state of Sabah last month are ready to fight to the death after withstanding an aerial and ground assault, the clan’s leader said on Wednesday.

Jamalul Kiram, who asserts he’s the sultan of Sulu, called for direct talks with Philippine President Benigno Aquino to end a four-week incursion aimed at reclaiming territory it lost more than 100 years ago.

Malaysian forces continued searching for about 180 of Kiram's supporters after an attack on Tuesday that followed clashes that killed more than 30 people.

What a hero. Talking from the safety of Manila about how his guys are ready to die for him. Of course, he is not ready to die, just his followers. What a hero.

These people belongs to one sect and probably, their root of origin maybe the same. Both sides are brave and no one seems ready to make a peaceful deal. Only death will stop these people from fighting what for them is the right thing to do.
