Krung Thai Asset Management (KTAM) is making an initial public offering (IPO) of the KTAM World Corporate Bond Fund (KT-WCROP) until April 2.
The fund will invest at least 80% of its net ssset value (NAV) in the master fund, BlackRock (Luxembourg) S.A, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlackRock with assets under management worth $3.79 billion as of Dec 31, 2012.
The master fund provides diversified access to global investment-grade corporate bonds with allocations to both high-yield and emerging markets, chief executive Somchai Boonnamsiri said.
The fund manager will consider using currency derivatives to hedge against foreign currency risk.
