Government inspections of warehouses storing pledged rice have revealed some of the rice was kept in poor condition and a certain quantity had disappeared.
The government was checking rice pledging-scheme stockpiles nationwide Thursday and found problems at several warehouses. The inspections were 80% complete as of Thursday.
