At the economic cabinet ministers' meeting Monday morning, caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra asked a committee to identify and prioritise problems affecting the economy.

Since investment and confidence of the private sector and consumers are sliding, the government sector must closely coordinate with the private sector and consumers.

The NESDB was asked to lead the efforts and follow up on the progress, especially on impacts from delays of free trade agreements.

The current round of political conflicts has lasted almost six months, affecting the economy, investment and consumption.
