FedEx sets up North Pacific facility at Osaka airport

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, is increasing its operation at its new North Pacific regional hub at Kansai airport in Osaka, Japan to serve as a major cargo link between East and West. 

FedEx Express plans to upgrade its facility at Kansai airport in Osaka, Japan to enable more shipments between Asia and the US and Europe.

The new facility started operations in the second quarter with the capacity to sort up to 9,000 packages per hour, said Asia-Pacific president David Cunningham.
