Thailand is ranked the ninth most exposed country to advanced persistent threat (APT) computer attacks in Asia-Pacific, giving a wake-up call to companies, says the California-based cybersecurity firm FireEye Inc. 

APT is a set of stealthy and continuous computer hacking processes, often targeting a specific entity.

It usually targets organisations or nations for business or political motives.
