Mandarin Oriental to launch condo

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage the first residential project in Southeast Asia at Iconsiam, a planned mixed-used project on Chao Phraya River.

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is a freehold 52-floor condominium project which requires an investment of seven billion baht.

The project, to be completed in 2018, offers fully fitted units at sizes between 132 and 690 square metres, according Thanawan Chaiwatana, managing director of The Iconsiam Superlux Residence Corporation Ltd.

Iconsiam is a new 50-billion-baht riverside mixed-used project in Charoen Krung area, being developed by a joint-venture partnership between Magnolia Quality Development Corp, Siam Piwat Co and Charoen Pokphand Group.  

Mr Thanawan said the condominium units were being launched globally.
