The price for diesel will be cut by 40 satang a litre starting Thursday, pushing it below 20 baht for the first time in years.
PTT Plc and Bangchak Petroleum Plc, the two state-owned market leaders, said on Wednesday they would cut diesel to 19.69 baht a litre while prices for other types of petrol and gasohol will remain unchanted.
Pump prices per litre in Bangkok and nearby provinces on Thursday will be:
- Petrol 95: 30.46 baht
- Gasohol 95: 23.50 baht
- Gasohol 91: 23.08 baht
- Gasohol E20: 21.14 baht
- Gasohol E85: 18.09 baht
- Diesel: 19.69 baht
