Online ads poised to hit B13.5bn in 2011

Online advertising, particularly on social networking media, is projected to rise to 15% of total ad spending next year, says Thomas Idea, a digital marketing specialist.

Consumer product firms are especially attuned to social networks, says Ms Uraiporn.

"We have seen a shift in spending toward online ads since early this year," said CEO and senior consultant Uraiporn Cholsirirungskul.
