Technology has been improving life for decades. But the latest innovation in anti-theft devices is not a complicated machine but a simple spray.
DataDot DNAcontains tiny granules laseretched with a code unique to the vehicle. When sprayed on car parts, the dots can be read with a special scanner.
"A security identification system, Microdot is a polymer-based microscopic label containing information uniquely tailored to mark and identify an individual's asset, similar to a vehicle identification number," explained Ben Bootle, chief executive officer of DataDot Technology.
