NBTC issues warning to mobile operators

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has requested all mobile operators immediately comply with its quality of service standard or risk revocation of their mobile concessions.

The company’s 3G tariff plans start at 99 baht a month, rising to 790 baht for unlimited internet access.
Anuparb Thiralarp, an independent academic in the telecom industry, scorned the regulator's move, saying the order lacked administrative command and offered no concrete action plan.
