NBTC passes tougher service rules

The telecom committee of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) approved strict service quality standards for the existing 50 telecom operators in a bid to prevent future network disruptions.
Prasert: DTAC has to submit upgrade plan
All mobile operators and telecom firms holding concessions are expected to comply with the measures, effective immediately, that came as a result of second-ranked mobile operator Total Access Communication (DTAC) crashing four times in one month due to network upgrades.
