The 2012-16 master plan for broadcasting took effect on April 4.

Digital tv sounds like a good idea but and there is a but. The whole system will need to improve from the cameras all the way down to the aerials the public have on there houses a digital transmit ion is either on or of ,you do not get away with a poor picture it is on or of. .It is a good idea but it is expensive for all.The set top box is a small expense compared with the cost of a new aerial for example. This article tends to pull the wool over peoples eyes as to the real cost to them".All you have to do is get a box" You need to educate the public about ways of receiving the signal, how to connect the box to the TV how to tune the TV to the box ,how to tune in the box the education goes on and on.How do you help the older generation and the vulnerable not a thought of that. Will the licences bear the cost?
