SHC plants flag in neighbouring Thailand

SHC Technology, the Malaysian wireless paging system firm, is expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia by choosing Thailand as its first international destination.
Thailand will be its centre for assembly and distribution, said Jonathan Chong, a vice-president of SHC Technology Bhd, a unit of the See Hoy Chan Group. SHC set up an office in Bangkok last year.
Mr Chong said Thailand has huge potential in the hospitality and tourism segments thanks to government support and the country's unique culture.
