DTAC offers new 4G deal to lure CAT

- +

Total Access Communication (DTAC) is proposing another attractive trade-off to its concession owner CAT Telecom in a bid to get much-sought-after fourth-generation (4G) mobile broadband service off the ground.

Chief executive Jon Eddy Abdullah said DTAC is offering another option to the state telecom enterprise: letting DTAC provide the 4G service under a wholesale-reseller agreement, much like the contentious contract CAT previously signed with True Corporation.

The structure involves DTAC building a 4G network and sharing its capacity and revenue with CAT.
