The cabinet has approved a number of appointments to key positions at the Energy, Tourism and Sports, Interior and Culture ministries.
The cabinet yesterday gave the go-ahead to the promotion of Norkhun Sitthipong from deputy permanent secretary for energy to permanent secretary, effective Oct 1, deputy government spokesman Marut Masayawanich said.
The deputy chief of the Public Works and Town Planning Department at the the Interior Ministry, Supol Sriphan, has been named director-general of the Tourism and Sports Ministry's Tourism Department.
