TCEB mulls new markets

Domestic Mice revenue and visitors will not grow this year, as many government agencies and private companies will limit their budgets for meetings and incentives following last year's massive flood crisis, says an industry body.

The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) maintains domestic Mice visitors in 2012 at 1.9 million and revenue at 10 billion baht.

Chiruit Isarangkun na Ayuthaya, the TCEB's Mice director, said companies hurt by the floods would cut unnecessary expenses including meeting budgets to restore their operations.
