TAT now need to adapt their advertising to the East Asian market. Shopping, top hotels and fine nightlife at affordable prices are priorities. This differs from the western tourists who decide on location first i.e. islands and beaches. There must be more signs printed in Chinese and Japanese and the Thai hosts must learn to be multilingual.
