Amazing Isan leads campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) projects the Northeast region will be the second most popular destination among domestic tourists thanks to a variety of attractions.

    Just because its politically appealing to say it, and everyone wants to hear it, doesn't mean it's not absurd.

    Isaan will not even be a close third in Thai tourist destinations. And no, tourist demand for Isaan is not rising. There's no "there" there.
