Russian travel scam in Pattaya

Fourteen Russian tourists are demanding that police speed up their investigation into a scam by a Russian travel company in Pattaya.

The tourists told the superintendent of Pattaya Police Station on Saturday that they had paid a total of 3 million baht for package tours but the operator did not keep her promises.

They filed their original complaint last Monday against Natalia Aleynikova, the 55-year-old operator of the World of Chang travel company in Bang Lamung district.

Easy from an experienced person's point of view.....I would never use a travel company within Thailand. In the few times that I did use them, every single time what was promised was never fulfilled. Substandard hotels, over booked bus's, bus's arriving at wrong destination in BKK, Minibus promised being a car with no air con and many more discretions. It's all about the money and only the money. Greed, greed is god in Thailand.
    To, wrap it up......not surprised!!!!
