Charter airlines seek Don Mueang parity

Thai charter flight operators have called on Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) to provide equitable treatment involving incentives already rendered to scheduled carriers using Don Mueang airport.
The four operators _ Mjets, Bangkok Aviation Centre, Royal Skyways and Thai Flying Service _ insist that they are entitled to the same discounted fees for aircraft landing, parking and usage of other airport facilities given to airlines like AirAsia.
They wrote to AoT management in early February to inquire about the issue after the AoT board, at its Nov 19, 2012 meeting, confirmed that the incentives also cover charter flights in and out of Bangkok's old airport.
