Boxing boost for Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya expects to ring up 200 million baht in revenue from a major Thai boxing event this weekend.

Buakaw Banchamek, a world-famous Thai boxer and a native of Surin province, lands a kick on an opponent. Thai boxing is gaining popularity around the world.

The province is hosting the 9th World Thai Martial Arts Festival and Wai Khru Muay Thai Ceremony on Sunday.
