Thai tourism during the coming Songkran holiday will be bustling in major destinations due to a positive environment and political stability, say two industry groups.
Hua Hin officials have joined with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Hua Hin Market Village to hold a Songkran festival from April 9-13. A giant foam party will take place in front of the village complex. The TAT will also work with Prachuap Khiri Khan to arrange a traditional Songkran celebration at the provincial hall from April 11-13. CHAIWAT SADYAEM
The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) expects 100 charter flights to Thailand during the long holiday period.
