Vietnam Airlines is modernising its fleet. In May the first Boeing 787 with a new cabin interior will be delivered to the Asian airline.

From June, the model will be used to fly to London and from November also to Frankfurt. By 2018, the airline will be flying a total of 19 new aircraft of that type.

In addition, in June the airline will take delivery of the first of 14 new Airbus A350s.

The 33 new aircraft will have enhanced cabin fittings, such as LED lighting for different moods, as well as power sockets and USB ports in the seats for passengers.
