Post Tips
June - September 1999

This series of lessons using the Bangkok Post in your EFL/ESL classroom is based on talking with the people who put our newspaper together each day. The aim is to

  • help your students become familiar with the various types of reading material available in our newspaper;
  • give your students a taste of what the journalism profession is really like;
  • help your students learn to read the newspaper -- not just one story, but to learn patterns for regular reading;
  • help your students learn to think, a crucial aim of our new curriculum.
